Hi Fatuma, yes I agree with you. Wordiness can get confusing when communicating with other nurses as well as clients. Client education is apart of our scope of practice so we want to be clear and concise. The last thing I want to do is harm my client because of my communication skills.

I enjoyed reading your post Cynthia. I agree that it crosses the line when it comes to picking a babies features. I thought that it was interesting that you tied nature vs nuture in with the impact of future technology and human growth and development. I did not think of it like that but again I do agree with you.

Swami, I liked your thought process. I do agree that human growth and development is drastically changing and technology plays a big part. I love the fact that future technology can help save premature babies but I’m not sure that the outcome will do more good than bad.

    Hi Swami,
I enjoyed reading about your culture. I can see that your culture still plays a huge role in how you are today. You are a very sweet and kind person. You are also very hospitable as well. You bring me snacks and drinks to class and that is your way to show love toward others.I appreciate who you are Swami. Do not let anyone change who you are even if they do not fully understand your culture.

    Hi Jaylinn,

I enjoyed reading your post about your cultural background. Your culture is similar to mine in that we love gathering for special occasions. I admire people from different cultures who are bilingual. I took a Spanish class back in High school but I want to learn more. Maybe you can teach me more one day.

    Hi Fatuma,

I know your family is proud that you are in nursing school especially after having a baby 8 weeks ago. That’s impressive. I plan on going back to school as well to get my RN. I also plan to go on a trip after I pass the NCLEX.:) I’m glad to be in this LPN program with you Fatuma, I wish you well in all your endeavors.
