Based on what happened at Memorial Hospital I think it is important and a must for the hospital to have a couple of good size generators, well prepared with supplies and necessary stocks of water ( drinking water and clean water, in Indonesia we have big and giant-sized of water supply on hospitals and it is common to have a water big barrels on each house ) and knowing that hurricane its common happen there the hospital should own a boat even just a small size also somehow build or provide better access to the rooftop, again hurricane happen in every 2.8 years in Lousiana according to NOAA so, I believe we can prevent the worse condition from happening instead of relying on government and other sources from helping.
