Laura Allen
ParticipantHello,
My name is Laura and I am new LPN student. I am 36 years old and currently work as a Med Tech in Rochester, NH. I started my career in nursing in 2007 shortly after my daughter was born. I also have a 13 year old son, as well as 15 and 6 year old stepdaughters. I was able to apply for this program with a partial scholarship through my employer and I am thrilled to finally be able to pursue my dream of becoming a nurse and advancing my nursing career. I hope to someday specialize in wound care. I live in Farmington with my boyfriend Joshua and our three girls, our Chessador, three cats and six ducks. My hobbies include studying true crime, the paranormal, anything to do with dinosaurs and Star Wars, cryptids, medical oddities, and off roading/overlanding. My only experience with writing would include stories I used to write with my friends up until high school. I hope to improve on my grammar use and paragraph building in this course.January 9, 2023 at 7:51 pm #14274Jenny Duclos

ParticipantHi Laura, I just got my LNA license just for this program back in August. I currently work as a phlebotomist and really enjoy that. I had my MA license back in 2010 but got severely injured and now I am starting over as I have gotten to the point I can physically do this job. Good Luck on your adventure!
