1.the small group of doctors, including Dr. Anna Pou, decided to meet because they were facing an increasingly dire situation at Memorial They were dealing with a lack of resources, such as food, water, and medical supplies, as well as critically ill patients. During their gathering, the doctors made decisions related to patient care, including the triage of patients based on their likelihood of survival. Making the hard choice to euthanize patients who would not survive
    2. Dr. Deichmann was firmly opposed to euthanasia and took a stance against it. Susan Mulderink the hospital’s chief nursing officer, believed that they needed to prioritize patients with the best chances of survival. Dr. Pou was leaning with euthanasia to extremely ill patients
    3. Tensions arose between caring for pets and caring for people when it became evident that some medical staff had to euthanize pets it was already a lot on doctors having to possibly make that decision regarding patients
    4. as the last of the patients leave memorial I feel upset mourning the lives that they could not be saved, because what if it was a possibility of more survivals but the doctors started to give up
