There are five types of writing them being; narrative which includes a main character who typically comes across some problems along the way. Analytical which breaks down the writers thoughts of how the character made the decisions they did. Expository which explains, describes and informs the reader of what’s going on. Persuasive which is the writer convincing the reader of something, and argumentative which investigates the topic to collect information to form a claim to make the reader acknowledge their point.

I don’t write often but when I do I think I am more of a expository writer because I like to go into detail and explain what’s going on with some dramatics thrown in there.
