    1. I think it is fair that they weren’t charged with murder considering they did all they could do with the little that they had when they had the opportunity to leave the hospital and save themselves. Instead, they stayed to take care of others which led to a complete disaster.
    2. It is important because it explains murder rates and the likeliness of a person getting charged with murder in New Orleans.

    4. many factors make people go back and forth like cultural beliefs, religion, environment, and the situation in general. I’m not sure which side to take because it depends on the situation all and all.
    5. In the event of Katrina, it wasn’t expected to be that bad and it wasn’t taken that seriously. It was something nobody was prepared for and Now the AMA has new guidelines.
