Our Phlebotomy Technician Course at LNA Health Careers is a 90-hour online course that allows students to train and enter the workforce quickly. After completing the course, students will be eligible to take the National Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) Exam to become nationally certified by the National Healthcareer Association.

Program Overview

hybrid online and in-person structure

  • 5-10 additional hours for reading and homework assignments
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Active health insurance plan and card
  • Proficiency in English and basic math skills as determined by our pre-entrance exam; 80% or higher required to pass
  • Documentation of safe to work exam by a medical provider
  • Internet-connected device to access course materials, including recorded lectures and skills videos
LNA Health Careers cannot accept transfer credits from any other institution, nor do our programs provide transfer credits to any other institution.

Upon successfully completing the Phlebotomy Technician Course, students will receive a certificate of completing and be eligible to sit for the National CPT Exam to become nationally certified by the National Healthcareer Association. Interested students must register for the exam with the Program Director through the Admission team.
The cost of the National Exam is $130.
