Become a Nationally Certified Phlebotomy Technician
Phlebotomy technicians are critical to hospitals, diagnostic laboratories, and blood donation centers. The demand for phlebotomists has increased, and many employers require professional certification.
Our Phlebotomy Technician Course at LNA Health Careers is a 90-hour online course that allows students to train and enter the workforce quickly. After completing the course, students will be eligible to take the National Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) Exam to become nationally certified by the National Healthcareer Association.

Admission Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Active health insurance plan and card
- Proficiency in English and basic math skills as determined by our pre-entrance exam; 80% or higher required to pass
- Documentation of safe to work exam by a medical provider
- Internet-connected device to access course materials, including recorded lectures and skills videos

Certification
Upon successfully completing the Phlebotomy Technician Course, students will receive a certificate of completing and be eligible to sit for the National CPT Exam to become nationally certified by the National Healthcareer Association. Interested students must register for the exam with the Program Director through the Admission team.
The cost of the National Exam is $130.
