The small group of doctors met to discuss the evacuation plans and “Taking care”, of patients who would remain at the hospital after evacuation.

When the discussion of Euthanasia comes out I believe Dr.Deichmann was the only one completely against it. It seems the others could rationalize it by some sort of justification. Like to end suffering.

Tension began about euthanizing pets because they were being taken care of more then people were tending to patients and they were walking around in the areas where patients were waiting to be evacuated.

As the last patient left alive it bothers me that some many patients were euthanized or “made comfortable”. I believe many of them could have made it out and the decision was made way to prematurely especially since the evacuations were undergoing.
