The rate at memorial was much lower than other facilities and I think it’s due to pushing people away and having to make those hard but impactful decisions. It shows how “prepared” in a sense they were since they were able to handle everything going on around them. Families were informed by phone calls that they had lost someone. The buses went to Dallas were they were put up in a hotel or shelter of some sort to. keep them safe and housed. Euthanasia was suspected so they performed the autopsy to rule out any foul play and get closure for the family. Morphine was used to help sedate the patients slipping them off into a peaceful death but the officers need more empty viles as proof. He says not to get attached because in the case something goes wrong you don’t want them to be let down or get upset while creating that close connection
