    1. They turned people away because they were trying to get people out of the hospital to safety and they barely had enough hands to take care of the people they had. I do not think race played a role.
    2.They could have left the pets to fend for themselves but there was no room to evacuate the pets and there wasn’t a guarantee they would make it running low on food. I feel like controlling the death was better than knowing you left a part of your family all alone to starve to death.
    3.Yes its very important that she is somebody’s mother because she’s important to people and she has a family.
    4. They seen they were just going to let her die and not even attempt to save her so they risked it to get her out of there.
