It must have been difficult too do 500 interviews
with people who went and survived through such a horrific time , victims, survivors, friends and family and first responders.
in a place with literally, no resources, no water no medications, in extreme heat and unsafe conditions.
trying to save those you can and being asked to make the choice who will live and who can’t be saved/
we don’t know how they were, lack of sleep dehydration, stress and no hope.
With that being said no one in my opinion can say what they would do until in that position.
