1.This decision was made because they were overwhelmed, they had limited resources and needed to prioritize the most urgent cases. Race was not a factor in this decision because they was turning white and black patients.
2.It was necessary to euthanize the pets left at the hospital because there was no other option, I think this was a best decision according to the circumstances. The alternative was to wait for chaos or the hospital could provide the resources possible to take care of them and that was not possible due to the situation that the hospital was going through.
3.I think it’s hard to hold the view because Merle Lagasse was in her terminal cancer and also someone’s mother.
4.i think lack of resources, the fact that there were only one operational telephone, also language
barrier.
