    1) Dr.Evans learns from Hurricane Katrina to help her navigate the dilemma in an emergency situation it is important to have a in depth plan and to communicate effectively with all the sides involved. She furthermore learned the importance of prioritizing patients based on medical needs and accessible resources. However,there are still questions about how to make decisions in difficult situations.
    2) In my opinion after Hurricane Katrina, changes were made in disaster planning to improve response and coordination. It is always important to have good communication systems, improved evacuation plans, and increased training for medical personnel.
    However, there are still areas that remain unaddressed, such as the crisis situation. There issues are complex and cannot be easily solved through policy changes alone.
    3) Maryland’s approach to disaster planning has both strengths and weaknesses. One strength is their focus on collaboration and coordination between different agencies and organizations. One weakness is there were no clear guidelines and protocols for making difficult decisions.
    4) The story impacts one’s feelings about the AMA and the justice system. It raises questions about the role of these institutions times of crisis and whether they are adequately prepared to handle such a situation.
    5) Whether or not agrees with Roger Bernier’s statement about democracy in america is personal opinion. It may depend on one’s own experiences and observations of the political system. Some may agree with the statement based on perceived flaws in the democratic process, while others may disagree and have faith in the democratic system.
    6) Education can help prepare individuals for making the right decisions in such situations by providing them with knowledge and skills. It will also help make the right decision in crisis situations by providing the education on ethics and critical thinking. This book offers wisdom by highlighting the challenges of disaster planning and responses.
