    1. I do not think race was a factor they just realized they could not help any more people as they were struggling to care for those that were already at the hospital.I felt terrible that people were sent away but it was not to be blamed on the hospital staff at this point.
    2. I think the animals did need to be euthanized given that rescue was not happening for them they were either going to die suffering or left abandoned which may have given them a small chance of surival but more likely than not they would succumb to the elements and lack of needs and sadly they may have suffered a lot more as a result. there did not seem to be a possible alternative besides just releasing them in hopes the animals would be rescued or find help but truly that would be very unlikely.
    3. yes I think as nurses and doctors we can see the science and bring personal relatable feelings as well it keeps us from growing cold during tragic times seeing so much devestation if they did not have any relatable feelings for these patients they would grow distant and cold and may lack the care and compassion they need to have to remain caring.
    4. They had trouble communicating to the outside with phones being down they also seemed to be lots of mis communication amongfst the staff at the hospital which made things even more chaotic
