The five styles of writing are narrative, descriptive, persuasive, creative and expository. I don’t write often but when I do I think I’m persuasive, because I am good at voicing my opinions and concerns and I will be honest with you see you see where I’m coming from and why I think that.
Lydia, I think it’s great that you’re good at voicing your opinion. That will be a valuable trait once you’re a nurse as it will aid your ability to advocate for your patients. As well as, in persuasive writing I feel like it’s important for the person writing to be good at expressing their opinions and being honest to be able to get people to understand their side and potentially agree. I look forward to seeing your writing style as this class continues.
