Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA)
The Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) Program at LNA Health Careers helps you to build a foundation for a rewarding career in healthcare. The course is made up of three components:
Part One: Theory (can be done online or in-person)
Part Two: Pre-clinical lab skills (in-person)
Part Three: Clinical (in-person)
There is such a great need for LNAs in New Hampshire and throughout the country, with the demand expected to continue growing well into the future.
Beginning your healthcare career as an LNA will help you gain valuable experience that will serve you well especially if you intend to advance through higher level programs like Licensed Practical Nurse.
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be eligible to sit for the state certification examination and submit their Board of Nursing LNA license application.
The LNA program is 110 hours long with day, evening, and weekend schedules available. See the Course Schedule page to check out upcoming classes!

“I looked into other programs but I chose LNA Health Careers because they are completely focused on training Nursing Assistants. The staff was always very helpful and my Instructor was excellent! I loved gaining new knowledge and skills in a hands on environment. I’m going to miss the class!”
- Traditional LNA: Select an LNA class that is 100% in-person from start to finish. Best for students hoping to complete the course as quickly as possible.
- Blended LNA: Select an LNA course that starts online and is followed by a scheduled in-person Pre- and Clinical component. This will allow you to complete the Theory portion of the class from the comfort of your home. There are no virtual meeting times. You can move through the online course at your own pace, however, you must complete the online portion in it’s entirety before your Pre-Clinical day. Best for students who don’t have the time for a full in-person class.
- LNA Theory Online Only: Complete the Theory portion of the class from the comfort of your home. There are no virtual meeting times. You can move through the online course at your own pace. There is no Pre- or Clinical component built into this option, you will need to schedule your clinical place with the Admissions office separately.
