I think better disaster planning would have prepared the hospital more with the equipment it needed, better communication skills, and overall preparedness for the staff as a whole is natural disasters and events like this. I would want to fund for better equipment, like a backup generator and extra supplies specifically for events like this so there is no worry of having enough things to provide for large amounts of patients in such a time.
