After completing the Nursing program, I would like to spend about 2-3years if that in a long-term care environment until I have built enough knowledge and experience as a nurse. Then I would love to spend my days as a nurse in the E.R department of a hospital, I feel as If a much more intense environment would build on a faster critical thinking paste as a nurse. If you can make out great as an E.R nurse, you can probably make it in any line of medical work.

I love your long term goals! I definitely agree, the emergency department will prepare you for any route of nursing you plan to go.

Awesome goals! It seems like long-term care would be the perfect environment to build confidence in your knowledge and skills before jumping into a faster paced area. From my experience on the LNA float team at Elliot hospital, the ER nurses were a different breed (in a good way), and I think you’d be a fantastic fit for that position. I can tell you’re a problem-solver and quick thinker which is very much needed for that type of nursing. Good luck with whatever you do!
